This book in particular has had all the feels, loss, happiness, joy, love, sad, laughs....we went from extreme to extreme. I really felt for Damien at the end. But happy for Katrina and Quinn. And the five are all getting their mates, slowly but surely.Tags : Bloodline (Book five): a Royal Blood Chronicle (Royal Blood Chronicles 5) - Kindle edition by Elizabeth Loraine, Conzpiracy Digital Arts cover design. Bloodline Book five a Royal Blood Chronicle Royal Blood Chronicles 5 eBook Elizabeth Loraine Conzpiracy Digital Arts cover design Reviews
The more you read these books the more you just have to love the characters. These books are not a typical vampire book but that's why I love them. And no the vampires don't sparkle and yes they do have fangs.
What can you say that hasn't already been said. This series was excellent I had to have them all and read straight through
Excellent writing. Very well written. Keeps me coming back...book after book. Love the story line. I feel like I am a part of the story as I read it. I just can't get enough of this series. Can't wait to read the next one! A must buy!
I am usually not one for writing these things but I had to with this book or actually the whole series. I have been sucked in from the first few pages of the first book. I enjoy all the journeys that I have been on from the beginning to now. The characters have grown so much also. Bloodlines was such a great adventure. It answered some questions from previous books but has left with me so many more that I will be waiting anxiously for the next book. Elizabeth Loraine is a great author with a skill to take you into another world and make you forget all your problems. I also enjoy the fact that the main characters are women. Strong, Kick Butt, Independent women. There needs to be more books out there where we as women are the rescuer not the rescued. I cannot wait to start her new series that should hopefully be coming out this summer. If you are interested in a good set of books that will transport to another time and place this is the series for you.
I've been breathlessly waiting for this book and boy was it worth it. Love this series and this is the best one so far! Elizabeth Loraine's writing style draws you into the rich landscape of late 1800's France as the story unfolds, weaving new characters with old, against the backdrop of decadent Paris. Katrina has grown into a beautiful woman, dedicated to her calling but definitely feeling the pressure of being the leader of the Five. She finds herself less able to believe that a normal life will be open to her. Good news for all of you that are Quinn fans; he comes back into her life in a big way as she and the Protectors search for a new threat emerging from the streets of Paris.
The Bloodline plot unfolds as the Five and the Protectors plan to confront the new hybrid demons released from the underworld with the death of Belial, and we are introduced to new and old enemies. The ranks of the Protects swell as well. Loraine handles the large cast of characters deftly and I didn't find myself struck by character confusion. There is a handy Character Listing in the front of the book though, just in case. My favorite characters from The Quest (Cain, Liridon and Gruen) are back. Quinn and Avery with their new dual identities as Watchers/Vampires are each assigned new missions as they assume their place as important components of the Protectors. This book sets up the progression to at least 4 more books and I can't wait.
Enjoyable read. Recommend it.
I have read the whole series and have been disappointed how the main character continually treats those that are important to her. She has no staying power or resolve to work problems out. It's her way or the highway. Her cold and unfeeling treatment of Damien is heartbreaking considering Damien's past. I had hoped that the main charactor would growup and figure out how to handle the stress without continuing to be so cold and selfish in her relationship with Damien. I will not be reading anymore books by Elizabeth Loraine.
This is the fifth book in this series and just as exciting as the other four books. This series is very addictive! You won't want to put it down. I am really anxious to see how things are going to turn out and see who Katrina will end up with, Damien or Quinn. I highly recommend this book and the whole series.
This book in particular has had all the feels, loss, happiness, joy, love, sad, laughs....we went from extreme to extreme. I really felt for Damien at the end. But happy for Katrina and Quinn. And the five are all getting their mates, slowly but surely.
